Brown Bread Pudding.
Take six ounces of stale brown bread crumbs, six tablespoonfuls of sugar and one cupful of milk; then beat in by degrees the -yolks of three eggs and the whites of four, whisked separately; add the strained juice of half a lemon and an oupce of finely chopped citron peeL Fill a buttered mold, cover with buttered paper, '/team steadily for two and a half hours.
