VANDERBILT WINS A BRITISH CUP

LONDON.— The many friends of Alfred G. Vanderbilt are congratulating the American on his achievement in winning the coaching Marathon held recently in connection with the International Horse show. This is the second time he has won the event and the cup now becomes ms property. Mr. Vanderbilt, whose coaching service between London and Brighton Is so well known drove a team of grays of American trotting breed. The distance was nearly ten miles and the time 41 minutes.
