B. Forsythe, proprietor of the Chicago Bargain Store, has rented a room at Brook, and will ship the remainder of his stock to that place and open a store. Two of his former clerks, Jerry Healy and Laura Phillips, will clerk in tue Brook store.

Fred Longwell and family have spent the past week or more getting fattened up on hqme grub at Fowler. Fred was down to Indianapolis while he was gone and saw Bill Parkinson at work on their new automobile. The factory designer told Fred that Mr. Parkinson had designed a new steering gear fok automobiles that he would guess was Wurth more than a million dollars to the jhyentor when patented.
