Ed Oliver went to Chicago Friday. Ernest Speeks is working for T. M. Callahan this week. Mrs. Wm. Rees was a Pleasant Grove caller Saturday. The show at Gifford was well attended Tuesday night and all report’ a good time. Mrs. Jim Rees and children spent Tuesday afternoon with Mrs. Wm. Rees and family. Pleasant Grove played Newland Sunday with the score 27 to 10 in favor of Newland. Mrs. T. M. Callahan and children spent Tuesday with Mrs. Harry Gifford and children. Mrs. Ed Snyder, Mrs. Dan Snyder and Mrs. John Snyder called on Mrs. Wm. Rees Sunday afternoon. Mrs. G. M. Beebe, Misses Jennie and Zelpha Jeffery called on Mrs. Charley Anderson Sunday afternoon. Charley Stevenson and Francis Harrington, of Kersey, have been working south of Newland this week. T. M. Callahan and John Eger were looking over the land west of Newland. Mr. Eger bought some more land. Mr. and Mrs. T. M. Callahan and children spent Sunday with Mrs. Callahan’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Ailher and family. Floyd, Luther, Bell and Lizzie Tow, Lola Oliver, Ernest and Mary Ree> ahd Charley Martin spent Sunday iu Michigan City and report a good time.
