Laymen’s Patriotic Vesper Services.
On Sunday evening, at 6:3J) o’clock, on the court house lawn, the churches will unite in a patriotic Vesper service, at which laymen will speak, national airs will be played by the band and sung by the audience. Addresses will be made by the following persons: “The Historical Fourth,” L. H. Hamilton. “Patriotism and Noise,” Prof. I. N. Warren. “Patriotism and Religion,”'o. H. McKay. “Patriotism and Politics," C. G. Spitler. Since thliins the first of the vesper services and laymen are to speak, the ministers are very anxious that every l one who can will come out and make it a great service.
