Miss Goldie Giinyion spent Sunday with Ocie Wood. Mr. and Mrs. Logan Wood spent Tuesday in Chicago. Jessie Lakin spent Wednesday evening with Mrs. Effie MyreS. Mr. and Mrs. Joe McGinnis, of Westvillq, is visiting relatives here. Mrs. Mattie Porter, who has been seriously ill, is now improving. Bessie and Anna Marion spent Sunday with John Marion and wife. Quite a few from here attended the baptising at Alter's Grove Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Leach spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Charles Warne. The children’s exercises were held here Sunday night with a very large Attendance. Mr. and Mrs. Alex Hurley, of Aix, '%pent Sunday with their daughter, Mrs. Addle Warne. Mattie Fay, who has been working for her brother near Rosebud, returned home Tuesday. Miss May Warren and son David moved to Rensselaer Wednesday. We all regret to see her leave. Mayme Cull, of Chicago Heights, returned home Wednesday after a few days’ visit with Clara Brusnahan. The U. B. Aid Society will meet at Mrs. Hopkin’s today and the C. B. prayer meeting will be held tonight at Mrs. Effie Myres’. $ Mrs. Cora Cavender and daughter Vera, who have been visiting her brother at Frankfort, returned here Wednesday morning.
