Missonrian's Odd request.
From way down In Missouri comes a piteous appeal to Mayor Emil Seidel, according to the Milwaukee Evening Wisconsin. The executive was promptly tottched and as he couldn’t comply with the urgent request from his own knowledge, he asked the press to give publication of the letter. It is addressed: “To the Honorable Major of the City of Milwaukee.” It reads: “lender the Circumstances I am in, I don’t see any other way, except to take the liberty and write to you, 1 hope you be so kind and give me the information I need. Please send me in the inclosed envelope the Address from a Drugstore where I can buy a half Gallon of Juniper Berries, I cannot get them here, and I know they grow either in Wisconsin or Michigan, and got them for sale in Milwaukee, maybe the can be got for less Money from Somebody else then at a Drugstore, I will be ever so much thankful to you, my troath is all stoped up so I can hardly get my breath, and the tell me Juniper Berries In good Whiskey a pint to a quart Whiskey to take a tablespoon full 3 times a day will cure a person, to breath alright again, so I to dry it. Please be so kind and send me the Address. 1 hope and wish you have gdod success as Major of Milwaukee.”
