Mrs. Williamson and daughter Marie, of Fair Oaks, were here today taking advantage of some of the bargains offered by the Rensselaer merchants. The funeral of Ephriam Sayers was held at the M. E. church today, Rev. Harper conducting the services. Interment took place in Weston cemetery. The Christian church orchestra gave an ice cream and cake social at the church last evening. Fendig’s Exclusive Shoe Store, Opera House Block. - News was received here today of the deatji of Miss Mary Riddle, daughter of Mrs. Lena Riddle, of Rensselaer. Miss Riddle has been afflicted with tuberculosis for some time, and her brother Chris recently went to Colorado, where she Jias been making her home for many years, to bring her back here. They reached Chicago last evening and her death took place after reaching there. Her brother telephoned the news of her death here, and J. H. Chapman was sent to Chicago to help make arrangements for bringing the body here. They expected to reach here on the late train tonight. - Allen Armstrong, an eight-year-old Hazelton lad, swallowed a grain of born last Wednesday which lodged in his windpipe and could not be removed. It went to his lungs and three physicians have failed to extract it? The child is not expected to live.
