A prominent, national expert on skin diseases whose name you are familiar with says that in all his scientific experience he has never, found so hard a disease to conquer as, Eczema. Yet he does not hesitate to recommend ZEMO as a most ful remedy for the treatment of Ecze-! ma, itching skin diseases, dandruff, pimples, blackheads and all other dis-? eases of the skin and scalp. He says that not only do Its curative qualities make it popular but also the fact that it is a clean, liquid remedy for external use. A great improvement over the old style greasy Balves<and lotions which are not only unpleasant to use* but do not destroy the germ fife that causes the disease. Will Not Buy Rags Until Further Notice.
Owing to the prevalence of scarlet fever, I will discontinue buying rags until further notice.
The statement appearing in the last semi-weekly issue of the Republican under the heading, “Do you think it right?", seems to be liable to misinterpretation. It is true that several own. ers of automobiles assisted in the con. veyance of passengers to and from* the college on the occasion of the dedication exercises, but this was done with* out charge, and upon a special request and with the knowledge and consent of Mr Wasson. - Owing to a mistake in ordering these automobiles these was some interference with the regular bus business, but in another instance, several people, including a bishop and other dignitaries, would have been unable to leave on that day, if I had not secured a number of automobiles at the last moment. If there were any who took advantage of this occasion to deprive Mr. Wasson of some business, I should very much regret it, but there was no intention on the part of the college to do so, nor that ©f its friends who had been asked to assist, as an accommodation to the niore distinguished visitors.
To the many friends In Rensselaer and vicinity who were so considerate and kind to Lucy Beasley during her residence in Rensselaer and so thoughtful following her death, we wish to express ouf gratitude.

A. BEASLEY AND FAMILY.
There seems to be a’misunderstanding about the article I had published a few days ago about private automobiles engaging in the bus business, after I had made extensive arrangements to handle the business. I understood that there, were to be several automobiles at the of the college to carry the more distinguished visitors and I had no objection to that and no thought of them in the articie> I previously published. My objection was to those auto owners who did a charge business. The owners could not expect to earn touch and each cent "Was out of my pocket. It was all right and entirely appropriate 1 for the buses that were volunteered to the collegeauthorities, and my criticism extends solely to the automobiles that engaged in a pay business without the consent of the college authorities.
