LONELY CORNER.

Mr. and Mrs. Ray Markin spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Lewis. Mr. and Mrs. C. Caldwell were seen in this vicinity last week. C. Morganegg called on Will Whitaker Saturday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Sullenberger spent Sunday with Dalton Ropp’s. Misses Kathryn and Eva Morganegg called on Mrs. Frank Schroer Monday afternoon. Mrs. Ed Barkley assisted Mrs. Clyde Davisson some with house cleaning last week. Mr. and Mrs. John Scott spent Sunday with their son Will Whittaker and family. Mr. and Mrs. W. N. Henkle attended the birthday surprise Sunday on Miss Stella Marion. They report a fine time. Mr. and Mrs. John Schroer and son Mark and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Ropp and daughter Katie visited with Frank Schroer and family last Sunday. Mrs. Henry Pierson does not Improve in health very fast. Her neighbors would like to see her able to be out more and among them oftener. Those that spent Sunday with Geo. McElfresh and family were Mr. and Mrs. Barney Kolhoff and family. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Grant, Mr. and Mrs. Bud Lewis and family, Cleveland and Vilas Price and Ethel Marlatt. Miss Eva Morganegg left Wednesday morning on the 9:55 train for Sheridan, 111., where she is going to visit her sister, Mrs. Lester Schreiner, for several weeks. Her father accompanied her as far as Chicago.
