Misses Loe and Oka Pancoast were shopping in Rensslaer Thursday. Walter and Fred Feldhaus were In Rensselaer Sunday afternoon. Miss Sarah Holmes spent from Sat* urday until Monday with her parents. Clarence Hamilton, of Rensselaer, papered for A. C. Pancoast Friday. Fred Parker and sister Nellie visited In Mt. Ayr Sunday. Mr. Allie spent Monday with Mr. and Mrs. Holmes and family. ■ Oscar Weiss and sister Leona spent Sunday with the Holmes family. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Overton spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Heuson.

Frank Shipman went to Attica for a visit of a few days with relatives and friends. John Gleason, the horse buyer, was in this vicinity the latter part of last week. Robert Hufty and sister, of Mt. Ayr, spent Saturday night and Sunday with R. J. Yeoman and family. Mr. and Mrs. Erhardt Weurthner and son Ray spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Smith. Miss Ruth Marsh spent Saturday night with her sister Celestial at the Makeever Hotel. Misses Virginia and Irma Holmes called on Miss Ora Grant Thursday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Bruce and son Lawson and Mrs. Jane Johnson visited with Mr. and Mrs.* George Werner Sunday. Carey and James Carr and sister Nan and Mrs. Arthur Arnott and son Lawrence spent Sunday with the Kendall family. Rev. Harper, of Rensselaer, preached at Curtis Creek last Sunday. Rev. Clarke, pastor of the Christian Church, preaches next Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. I. Parker and two children, Robert and Katherine, spent Sunday in Rensselaer, the guests of Mr. and Mrs Chas. Parker and family.
