Dr. Hemphill Appointed Member Of City Board of Health.
At the city council meeting last night night Councilmen Kresler and Catt were absent. Dr. F. H. Hemphill was appointed a member of the city health board to succeed Dr. Laws, who has removed from the city. Ordinance No. 130 regulating the sale of fire works was introduced and passed to second reading. Ordinance No. 131 to protect the public health was introduced and passed to second reading. The members of the fire department present at the Kalberer fire were allowed $1.50 each for attendance at the firfe.
