Prosecutor Longwell Giving Some Investigation to Bridge Contracts.
Prosecutor Fred Longwell, of Brook, is here getting matters fixed up for the case of the State against Frank E. Babcock, which is set for hearing for next Monday, and for the cases of the State vs. William Lewis, charged with having sold liquor in violation of the “blind pig” law, while living at Mt. Ayr. It is also understood that he is giving considerable attention to the bridge contracts that have been let in this county and that he has discovered several things that look “peculiar” to him. It is uot improbable that he will call a grand jury to investigate it and in doing this he will meet the approval of the taxpayers of the county, who want every man in Jasper county prosecuted, no matter who they are or what their guilt is. It is his duty to go after any person he believes guilty of graft and Prosecutor Longwell deserves the support of every taxpayer irrespective of party.

WOMEN’S BEAUTY
Imperfect Digestion Causes Bad Complexion and DoH Eyes. The color in your cheeks won’t fade, the brightness in your eye won’t vanish, if you keep your stomach' in good condition. This was the advice of a prominent I physician to a woman’s club in Bos- ' ton and it is good advice. Belching of gas, heaviness, sour taste in mouth, dizziness, biliousness and nausea occur simply because the stomach is not properly digesting the food. The blood needs nourishment to carry vigor, vim and vitality to every part of the body and when food ferments in the stomach enough nourishment Is not supplied. Mi-o-na stomach tablets give instant relief to upset stomachs, but they do more; they put strength into the stomach and build it up so that it can easily digest a hearty meal without giving its owner hours of misery. Mi-o-na is sold by druggists everywhere and by B. F. Fendig at 60 cents a large box. It is guaranteed to cure indigestion or any stomach distress or money back. Dyspepsia is our national ailment. Burdock Blood Bitters is the national cure for it. It strengthens stomach membranes, promotes flow of digestive juices, purifies the blood, builds you up.
