Friends Help Mrs. A. J. Biggs Celebrate Her 54th Anniversary.

Friday, April 22nd, was the 64th anniversary of the birth of Mrs. A. J. Biggs, southwest of town, and she had previously extended an invitation to Milroy Circle,. Ladies of the G. A. R„ to come to her home for a picnic dinner and help her celebrate the event. The invitation was responded to very heartily, about 50 ladies were there and partook of a bountiful dinner. After the dinner the following ladies rendered piano solos: Mrs. Bert Hopkins, Mrs. G. H. Healey and Misses Maud Daugherty and Belle Laßue. Helen Duvall, Ellen Kresler, Harold Sharpe and Adna Healey, four little tots, each recited recitations. During the afternoon, Mrs. Biggs served orange Ice. The hostess was the recipient of several presents to remind her of this particular birthday.
