Old Indian Wants Money.

Old John Smith, an Indian brave, ▼lctor In many battles, and possessor of several personally collected scalps, was here from his Mud Lake alotment In upper Cass county and was on his way to Interview Agent John Prater regarding his pine holdings, a dispatch from Walker, Mich., to the Detroit Free Press says. The red man is nearly 100 years of age. “Me die soon,” said the old buck; “happy hunting grounds In little while.
