Foreclosure of S. B. Moffit Land Concluded by Master’s Sale.
-'Master in Chancery Edward Daniels and Attorney George L. Denny, of Indianapolis, were in Rensselaer Monday morning, the former to sell and the latter to bid in as the representative of the Provident Life and Trust Co., of Philadelphia, the Seth B. Mofiit land in Union township, which was sold under foreclosure proceedings. The insurance company had loaned to Mofiit $20,000, and a judgment was rendered against Mofflt for the principal-, interest, taxes and costs, amounting to $25,136.46. Attorney Denny bid it in for that amount and it is understood a customer for the land has already been secured. Mofiit is now living in South Dakota.
