Census Supervisors to Meet Enumerators Here Tuesday.
Francis H. Doran, supervisor of the census for the 10th district of Indiana, will be in Rensselaer Tuesday, April 12th, for the purpose of meeting with his enumerators in this vicinity. The meeting will be held at 2:30 p. m. in the court bouse. All of the enumerators have been notified and are expected to be here. The actual work of taking the census will begin on April 15th. The districts are quite small and one enumerator said to the Republican Friday that he believes he can complete the census in his territory in a week.
V. J Crisler, Dr. I. M. Washburn and Mrs. John I. Gwin returned last night from Jamestown, N. Dak., where H e former as agent sold each of the others a farm. Dr. Washburn bought 145 acres a half mile from Jamestown, with no building improvements, but all under cultivation. Mrs. Gwin bought 160 acres adjoining the 160 that Mr. Gwin bought a few months ago, so they now have a half section about 7 miles from Jamestown. It is also all under cultivation and rented. They will raise 210 acres of wheat and have the balance in flax this year. The country there is said to look tfery beautiful now and there are a great many buyers from Indiana and other states. ' , }
