Pastor of First Baptist Church Decides to Go to Windfall, Ind.
After having once decided not to accept the call to go to Windfall, Ind., as pastor of the Baptist church, Rev. 6. E. Miller has now decided to accept the call to that place and Sunday tendered his resignation to the members of the First Baptist church here. When the resignation was read by Judson H. Perkins the members of the church were greatly overcome and there was scarcely a dry eye in the church. Rev. Miller has been a diligent worker in a’4 branches of the church and the you jg people especially, with whom he has labored diligently, regret his decision to go to a new field of labor. has promised to remain here until the first of May and to help the members of the church in locating a new pastor.
