Lecture Coarse Left a Balance; Better Coarse Planned for 1910-11

The treasurer of the Epworth League Lecture Board reports that after all bills are paid, there will be a surplus of $35.20. It is the purpose of the board to use this fund as the beginning of another course. It will bfe remembered that the course this year was planned the latter part of October and at a time when talent was scarce. The committee, however, arranged a course which has given satisfaction considering the low price of season tickets and the time they had to work. This fall they are planning to give another course costing at least SIOO more than this year’s and will consist of three gbod lectures, one entertainer, and a-quartette. Then, if the sale of tickets is satisfactory, Byron King will be secured as an extra, making six numbers. The price of season tickets will not exceed $1.50 for the six numbers and possibly only $1.25, the name as last year. A p;Jrt of the course will be selected trom the following: Booth Lowrey,. L. B. Wickersham, Robert Parker Miles, The Beilharz Entertainers, gam A. Steel.
