Pneumonia Causes Death of Aged Residence of Newton Township.
Erhardt Wuerthner, Sr., an aged and highly respected German resident of Newton township, died at about 4:30 o’clock this Wednesday morning of pneumonia, after an illness of only about a week. Prior to that time, he had been in very good health for a man of his advanced years. Deceased was. about 75 years of age land had been a resident of Newton township for a great many years. He was twice married and by his first wife leaves four children, viz: Mrs. G. E. l\|ay, bi near Remingtoh; Mrs. Ed Harris, ol Mt. Ayr; Mrs. J. H. Sayler, of Gleiv wood, Minn.; and Erhardt Wuerthner, Jr., of Newton township. By his second wife, three young children survive with the widow, to mourn his loss. The funeral will be Held Friday morning at 10 o’clock at the home oi his son, Erhardt Wuerthner. tt will be conducted by Rev. J. C. Parrett, of th? First Presbyterian church. Burial will be made in Weston cemetery.
