Master In Chancery Hears Evidence In Suit of Cheadle vs. Hollingsworth.
Master in Chancery Edward Daniels, of Indianapolis, occupied the bench in the court room yesterday when evidence was taken in the case of W. H. Cheadle,, trustee of the Remington Bank, vs. E. L. Hollingsworth and inquiring into the sale .of tht Remington First National Bank by Robert Parker to E. L. Hollingsworth, the night before the failure of the Parker private bank. . Delos Thompson, J. J. Hunt and Hartley Church were examined. Most of the testimony was relative to the transactions at the Parker residence the night before the failure of the Parker bank. It was found necessary that deposition? be taken from Robert Parker now confined in the Michigan City penitentiary, and the attorneys are to agree upon a date for taking his evidence. It is probable that another session ol the court will be held in Rqnsselaer.
