E. Ranton, Sr., of Hoopston, Suffers Slight Apopleptic Stroke.

Ed Ranton, Sr., of Hoopston, HL, who is visiting his son, Ed Ranton, southeast of town, suffered a slight stroke of apoplexy this morning. It is not expected to result seriously. Don McCammon, a Terre Haute miner, who was nearly lynched a few weeks ago for attacking two little girls, yesterday at Bloomfield was sentenced to prison for life. He has a family.
