An Incendiary Lover.

A blaze was discovered in a Williamsburg letter box and the contents, about fifty letters, were charred before the fire was extinguished. It is the opinion of the police that a young man wrote a proposal of marriage to his girl and then got cold feet and set the boxful of letters on fire to destroy his own.
