One Cent Deposited by Trustee to Correct Error of Long Standing.

Kankakee Valley Review. Two members of the public accounting board were here last Saturday and examined the records and accounts of the trustees of Wheatfleld, Walker, Keener and Kankakee townships, and we were Informed that aside from some mffior errors no irregularities were found. The mistake of a few cents in adding up a column of figures often happen to expert accountants, An error was found in the records of Wheatfleld township, to the amount of one cent and the error traced back to the term of a former trustee, and Trustee Clark promptly squared the township by walking into the Bank of Wbeatfleld and making the smdllest deposit ever made in the history of the bank, one cent.
