Township Assessors to Meet Here Saturday, Feb. 26, to Get Supplies.

The assessors of the various townships of Jasper county will meet at the office of County Assessor John Q. Lewis on Saturday, Feb. 26, at 1 o’clock, to make out their assessmentlist and get their supplies for the work that is to begin the first of March. The Chicago philanthropy has recognized and given substantial appreciation of the talent of Miss Hazel Harrison, says the Laporte Argus-. Bulletin, is the report which a Laportean brings from Chicago. It is understood that Miss Harrison will receive $4,000 from two Chicago parties, $2,000 from each. This money will be devoted to completing the musical education of Miss Harrison.
