Militia Basketball Team Played Creditably Against College Monday.

Arrangements were made Monday afternoon for a basketball game between the militia team and the team from St. Joe to be played that evening in the college gym. The local team was composed of Kirk, Parcells, Wartena, Gangloff, King and Watson. The result was very gratifying to the soldiers, who were defeated by the score of 29 to 21, and which they Considered almost as good as a victory. Parcells played a star game and Kirk’s return to form also put him into the contest with very excellent results.
