It Is estimated that 4,000 children are named for him every year. There are Washington halls, Washington hotels, Washington clubs, Washington societies, Washington streets, and W’ashingtonians who sigh for a chance to save the country over again. Think of it! If he hadn’t been born everything in the above would have had to be called Smith!
