E. Kennedy and Clyde Bowman went to Delphi Friday, where Mr. Kennedy’s brother is seriously ill. Mr. and Mrs. Newt Kaupkee spent a day or two last wek with the latter’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Bowen. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Kennedy and family went to Frankfort the first of last week to visit Mrs. Kennedy’s parents. Mr. and Mrs. John Bowen, of Newland, spent Sunday with Newt Kaupkee and wife. Ed Oliver sold 32 head of cows Sunday to a couple of dairy men. Miss Letha Rees made a business trip to Pleasant Grove Monday. Floyd Tow, of near Wolcott, spent Sunday night with Ed Oliver and family. Wm. Rees hauled coal at Gifford Monday. T. M. Callahan and little daughter, Ruth, spent Saturday night and Sunday with his parents, at Rensselaer. Claude and Golds Bowman, Letha, Ernest and Mary Rees, Lola Oliver and Sam Bowen attended the birthday party at John Watson’s Saturday night. It was.given in honor of his Oldest son, Roy's, 21st birthday. There were 106 of his friends present. Oysters were served at 10:30 o’clock. <, j Get your order in early for hard coal.
