I 'IT it ft2 lTM iV V I 1 4 T IS ADMITTED BY EVERY INDIVIDUAL THAT THE BKST MEDICINE IN I'HE WORLD is DR. SHERMAN'S MEDICA TED LOZENGES. They are agreeable to the taste, easily administered, and from the unprecedented success which they have met with, and the remarkable cures which they have performed, may justly lay claim to the title ol CONQUEROR over the diseases for which they have been recommended. They have been used by Ministers of the Gospel, some of whom have been tottering upon the very brink of the grave and have raised them up. They have been used by all professions and classes of men, in Coughs, Colds, Consumption, Asthma, and various diseases of the Lungs, and found to be more effectual than any medicines ever used. . They have destroyed more worms, and tsaved mure children from the early grave, than any other preparation in the world; and they have relieved more Headaches, palpitations, rheumatism nervous affections, pains. &c, than any other preparation that was ever recommended to the World. Physicians prescribe them because they know, from theory as well as experience, that they are not only the pleasantest but the best medicine in use. Dr. VAN YORX, Dr. Sherman's Agent 89 Chestnut street, Philadelphia, way applied to bv a poor woman, whose daughter, seven years old, has been sick nearly three years. Her stomach was as large as 11 yrown person's, her arms and Ices swollen so that she could not walk. Two celebrated Doctors attended her, and had ex hausted their skill without any benefit. The Doctor, believing it a case of worms, gave her a box ol vorm Lozensres. in two an 3 she re turned with joy beaming in her eves, and said the Lozenges had saved her child's life. The first dose brought away nearly a pint of worms in one living mass, and she afterwards counted over 800 thai were discharged besides the mass she could not count. She is now a living wit ness of the ulinost miraculous efficacy of Dr. Sherman's Lozenges, 11 tmdreds ot cases could be cited of the effica cy of Dr. Sherman's COUGH LOZENGES, but i 1 is deemed ifiinecesaary, as the medicine recoj.iiiiH'ids ilself without pu tiling, Sherman's POOR MAN'S PLASTER ' is de cidedly the best stengthening Plaster in the orld. it has now been in use lor many years, and not only the inline use sale which it has already attained, but also the testimonials ol those who have ined it with great benefit, flow in so fast that the doctor is persuaded ihnt no Plaster which has ever been discovered has been the means of doing so much good. 1 1 is a sovereign remedy for rheumatism, pains and weakness in the back, side, chest and extremities, and as used in qoughs, colds, oppression of the chest und stomach, liver complaints, dyspepsia and asihma, is productive of the greatost benefit. Comment on such evidence is unnecessary. Ntw York, July 25, 1844. Messrs. Sands : Gent. I consider it but an act ot justice to you, to state the following lacts in reference to the great benefit I have received, in the cure ol an obstinate cutaneous ulcer 011 mv breast. "I was attended eighteen months by a regular andekillul Physiciwi, assisted by the advice and counsel of one of our most able and experienced Surgeons without the least benefit what ever. Ail the various meinoos 01 treating can cer were resorted to; for five weens in succes sion my breast was burned with caustic three limes a day, auu lor six it was uany syringed with a weak solution of nitric acid, and the cavity or internal ulcer was so large that it held over an ounce ol the solution. The Doctor pro bed the ulcer and examined the bone, and sid the disease was advancing rapidly to the Limits and it I did not get a speedy relief by medicine or an operation liie result wouldbe fatal. . 1 was advised to have the breast laid open and the bones examined, but finding no relief from whai had been done, and feeling 1 was rapidly getting worse, 1 almost despaired of recovery and considered my case nearly hopeless. Seeing various testimonials and certificates ofcurebythe use of "Sands' Sarsapanllu" in cases similar to my own, I concluded to try a lew bottles, several which were used, but (rum the long, deep seated character ol my disease, produced no very decided change; considering "us as the only probable cure for my case 1 perlevered, until the disease was entirely cured. It is now over eleven mouths since the cure was completed: there is not the slightest appearance ol a return. 1 therefore pronounce myself well, and the cure effected by Sands' Sarsaparilla, as I took no other medicine of any kind duringthe time 1 was using it, nor have 1 taken any since.
