AN ORDIN ANCE, to amend an ordinance entitled an ordinance concerning nuisances passed January 30th 1843. Sec. 1st. Be it ordained by the President and Trustees of the Town of Evausville, That all

contagious disease, or from -which any unwholesome, disagreeable or offensive smell or afHuvia
shall arise to the- injury or annoyance of any
person or persons living within the corporate
limits ot said town, be and the same are hereby defined and declared to be nuisances. And auy
person or persons who shall, bring, continue, or
suffer any such boat or water cralt to remain
within the. limits aloresaid, or who beinz the
owner of or having control of any - such water cralt, shall neglect or fail, or refuse to abate, or
remove such nuisance instanter on being notified so to do. by any officer of the corporation of said town, for every hour that he, she or thev
shall so neglect, fail or refuse, shall forfeit and pay to the said Presideut and Trustees for the use ot said Town any sum not more than fifty dollars nor less than five dollars with costs of suit and such nuisance may moreover be abated or removed by the corporation niarshall in such manner aa he shall think fit and right.
