The rivr, We, fell rapidly vesterdav, bat will no doabt be foond at a stand or rising this morning, as there have bee a general rains along the whole line of the river. There was a large amount of packet business transacted yesterday, considering the inclemency of the weather and the terrible moddiness of the streets and levee. The arrivals yesterday were the R. K. Dnnkerson, Bowling-Green; Halleek, from the Wabash; Olive and Waoanita, Cincinnati to St, Louis; Gen, Anderson, Cairo and retarn; Morning Star, from Louisville and retarn. -' The Gen. Halleek is the first boat oat of the Wabash this season, and she had a magnificent trip of flour. The R. K. Dnokersoa bad a very fin trip bat of Green river.. 8ne returns to Bowling Green at ft o'clock this eveninjr and will want freight and passengers. The Olive discharged some 200 tons of freight here and bad a good trip to St. Louis.- The Waoanita was also full of freight. The Gen. Aoderson did a Land Office busiaesa on her last trip. She first brought a full cargo from Cairo and Metropolis ' to Padoeab, and then reloaded for this port Tier Manifest was about eight feet long too long for publication. She was thus detained, not reaching here until noon yesterday. She, however, discharged her large cargo, and filled np before dark, taking, among other freight, 600 barrels of floor for reshipment to New Orleans, and large quantities of Paducah freight. Capt.
