The adjourned . meeting on Thursday 'evening at the "Trinity McthodistChurcb, of committees and others, with reference to preparations for the coming State Sunday School Convention, was an improvement on the former one in the matter of attendance, and a goodcfegreo of interest and activity was manifest in the reports of committees present. It is believed that a large attendance of strangers will be at the meetings of the Convention, and our Committee of Reception and Entertainment have a large work before them, andehoull have prompt and liberal encouragement from all friends of the enterprise. It wa3 decided to increaso the number of this committee, and several gentlemen and quite a largo number j of ladies will be added, and the can-

The tirae is at hand when, by a small outlay of attention and mean3, we can confer a favor upon a large part of the Sunday School people of the surrounding country, and do credit to ourselves.
