The weather yesterday was partly cloudy, with a raw northwest wind, which rendered it somewhat chilly out-doors. Howard,, an experienced officer and an accomplished gentleman, is the regular packet for Cairo and all way ports at, four o'clock " to-day. Tom Brashear and Bruce Hunter are her popular clerks, and more, obliging ibr pleasant gentlemen are not afloat. For Green River. The James Gruy, Captain Joe MeReyuoIds, leaves for Frostburg aud Hartford at 5 P.M. to-day. Passengers and shippers will receive the most kindly attention. For Henderson. The Mollie Norton, an o'egant side-wheel steamer, leaves for Henderson at 3 o'clock. Captain Charley Perkins, and Ed. and Robert Terry are her popular officers. The Newsboy, with pleasant accommodations, goes to Henderson at 3 o'clock to day. Captain W. IT. Shefifcr and Willie Hu-ton are the pleasant gentlemen in charge. For Eastport. The splendid Sam. Orr, oue of the fleetest of sten,whcelers afloat, will leave at 5 o'clock to-day fur E.istport and all Tennessee River way landings, having elegant cabin appointments. Capt. Allen Duncan, one of the most genial and sociable gentlemen in the world, is her experienced commander, and Val. Sorenson, a gentleman whose praise is in everybody's mouth, is her chief clerk. The Missouri h rising at Omaha and all tho way down; Business continues brisk on the wharf, receipts and shipments being heavy to and from nearly all points. The weather is warm and clear. Another1 mountain boat left last night, the Huntsville, and the Ida Stock'cialo will leave this morn ing, if she did not also .get away last night.' They have an aggregate of about 400 tons.
