MORTON. v'7 ).i w o" . . ... MEDICAL. Great 3ew England Remedy DR. J. W. POLAND'S WHITE PINE COMPOUND, IS NOW OFFERED TO THE At. Aided throughout the country, after having been proved by the test of eleven years in the New England States, where i vs merits have become as well known as the tree from which, in part, it derives its virtues. Tne WMte Pine Compound Cnres Sore TJiroaf, Colds, Coughs, Liptheriat Bronchitis, Spitting of Blood, and Pulmonary Affections generally. It is a Remarkable Remedy for Kidney Complaints, 'Diabetes, Difficulty of aiding Urine, Bleeaing from the 'Kidntgs ; and .Bladder, Gravel and other complaints. In Novemler, 1R5, 1 first advertised It under the name of White Plnecompound. In two years from, that time there had Deen wholesaled in Mancheie: aloneone hundred thousand dollars' worth, .where It took the lead of all the cough remedies in the market, and it sail maintains that position. There are good reasons for this; it is very soothing and healing in its nature, is warming in the stomach, and pleasant withal to the taste, and is exceeding cheap. " as a remedy for kidney complaints the White Pine compound stands unrivaled. It was not originated tor that purpose; but a person in using it for a couh was not only cured of the cough, but was also cured of a kldne - difficulty of ten years' standing, j-lnce that accidental discovery, many thousands, have u-ed It for the same coin plaint, and have been completely cured." THE WHITE PINE COMPOUND. "It was early in the spring oi '52 that this compound was originated. A member of mv fnmilv was arliicted with uri irritation of the tnroat, attended with a diagreeable cough. 1 had lor some mouths previous thought that a preparation naviug f.rit basis the inside bark oi White Pine might be so compounded as to be very useful in diseases of the Throat and Lungs. To tet the value of it in the cave alluded to, I compounded a small quantity of the medicine that I had been planning, and gave it is teaspoonful doses. The result was exceedingly gratifying. Within two days, the irritation of tne throat was removed, the cough subsided, and a speedy cure was effected. The above was writen by Dr. Poland i: 1SW. Since then, as in Manchester, th White Pine Compound has taken the leac of all cough remedies, as well as prepare tlons for the cureot kidney diificulties, i every city, town, village, and hamlet throughout the New England States. This rerredy is as safe and pleasant to take as it is effectual. the WHITE PIXE COMPOUND, GEORGE W. SWEET, M. Proprietor. Prepared at the NEW ENGLAND BOTANICAL DEPOT, 106 Hanover Street, Boston.
