Notice of the Proposed Widening of Water or Front Street between Leet Street and theAlley-wMclt divides the Fourth Enlargemeit from Lamasco. , " 1866, December 27. On motion of Couii' cilman Reitz, seconded by Conncilmau Miller, the following order was unanimously adopted and passed: Ordered, that six weeks public notice, by advertising in the Evansville Daily Jock- ' nai, be given, that on the 18th day of February, 1867, the Common Council of the City of Evansville will make an order to widen Water or Front Street of said City, so' as to embrace In said street all the ground embraced and contained in the following lines, to wit: The line on the northeast side of said Water or Front Street to commence at the most southerly point of Lot 15, Hornby's Enlargement of the City of Evansville, being the same point where the northwest side of Leet Street Intersects the northeast side of Water Street, as said Water Street is now laid out in front of said Hornby's Enlargement, and running thence north, fiftynine degrees and ten minute (59 10) west from the the magnetic meridian to the southeast side of Goodsell Street, at a point on said side of 'said Goodsell Street, thirtytwo feel and forty-two hundredths of a foot (3&42) northwardly from the most westerly corner of Laughlin's Addition, thence north fifty-two degrees (52) west from the magnetic meridian to a point In line with tne middle of the Alley which divides said Fouith Enlargement from Lamasco, three hundred and twenty-nine feet and eighty-three Hundredths of afoot (329.83) southwardly from the southwest side of First Street.
