Asiatic Cholera in China. Almost Every Case Cured with Pain-Killer. From Rev. R.Telford, Missionary In China. Washington, Pknn., June 35, 1868. fUTENMRN. PERRY DAVIS A SON, JUL Providence, Rhode Island Dear Sirs: During a residence of some ten years as a missionary in Slam and China, I found your Vegetable Pain-Killer a most valuable remedy for that fearful scourge tha Cholera. In administering the medicine, I found it most effectual to give a teaspoon ful of Pain-Killer in a gill of hot water sweetened with sugar ; then, after about fifteen minutes, begin to give a tablespoonlul of the same mixture every minute until relief was obtained. Apply hot applications to the extremities. Bathe the bowels and stomach with the Pain-Killer, clear, and rub the limbs briskly. Of those who had the Cholera and took the medicine faithfully in the way stated above, eight out of ten recovered. Truly yours, R. TELFORD. If attacked with Diarrhoea, Dysentery, or Cramp Colic, do not delay the use of the Pain-Killer. Sold by all medicine dealers.
