Charley Irwin is the attractive feature of the boat, young, nanasome, aftable and polite, he couldn't fail to be popular. Charley will do to travel with. roR Louisville. The palatial Tarascon, the imperial beauty, goes to Loulsviue mis morning at 9i o'clock. She has no equal afloat either in magnificence or speed. Capt. Jim Lusk is the good Tvcoon of the Hurricane deck, with Mr. Knight, the model mate, in the " fore'cas'le." John Ouerbacker, a great favorite with the traveling public, is in her office. Arthur Field and Billy Stephenson are her accurate and reliable freight clerks, always affible and obliging. Dabnev Pae-e vides ratk-ns with grand munificence. The RoseHite should be down this even ingwe should like to say she will be, and so would Captain Ballard, we reckon; but nose has formed an attachment just above Green River, and won't give it up. The rapid decline of the river continues here, and all the upper rivers are falling, greatly to the delight of light draft boats and barges.
