'T is sweet at dewy eve to rove, When softly sighs the western breeze, And wandering mid the starlit grove, To take a pinch of snuff and sneeze. 'T is sweet to see in daisied field, The flocks and herds their pleasures take ; But sweeter are the joys thev yield. In tender chop and juicy bleak. T is sweet to hear the murmurous sound, That from the vocal woods doth rise, To mark the pigeons wheeling round, And think how nice thev M he in pie. MISCELLANEOUS,

Since the issuing of his hist circular and advertisement, over a year since, several improvements and new inventions have been made, of which he has availed himself, and allows nothing that will subserve the interests of his patients, to pass unsecured. Parents should consult the health and beauty c t

their children by having the Dentist direct thei second dentition, thereby producing symmetry anil health to those invaluable organs. Irregularity of children's teeth corrected successfully. jucison's MOUNTAIN HERB PILLS.

Above we present you with a perfect likeness o

Tt.nco, a chief of a tribe of the strange Aztec Nation, that ouce ruled Mexico. Yon will find a full account of him in our pamphlets and Almanacs

to be had gratis from the Agents for these Pills. Tho inventor and manufacturer of " Judson's Mountain Herb Pills " has spent the greater part of his life iu traveling, having visited nearly every country in the world. Ha .pout over six years among the Indians of the Rocky Mountains and of Mexico, and it was thus that tlx - locntain Herb Pills" were discovered. A very unresting account of his adventures there you l.rid in our Almanacs and Pamphlets. It is an estal lished fact that all diseases arise from IMPL'KK BLOOD! The blood is the life ; and when any foreign or unhealthy matter gets mixed with it, it is at once tlistirbuted to every organ of the body. Every nerve feels the poison, and all the vital organs quickly complain. The stomach will not digest the food lerfectly. The liver ceases to secrete a sufficiency of bile. The action of the heart is weakened, aDd so the circulation is weakened. TI.e lungs become clogged with the poisonous matter; hence, a cough and all from a slight impurity at the foiui-taiu-head of life the Blood I As If you had throwH some earth, for instance, in a pure spring, from which ran a tiny rivulet in"a few minutes the whole course of the Btream becomes distnrbed and discolored. As quickly does impure blood fly to every part, and leave its sting behind. All the passages become obstructed, and unless the obstruction is removed, the lamp of life soon dies oat. These Piiis not only purify the blood, hut regenerate all the secrttions of the body. They are, therefore, unrivaled as a CURE FOB BILIOUS DISEASES, Liver Complaint, Sick Headache, Ac. This AntiBilious Medicine ex puis t rem the blood the hidden seeds of disease, and renders al. the fluids and secretions pure and flueut, clearing aud resuscitating the vital organs. Pleasnnt, indeed, Is it to us, that we are ahlo to plaro within your reach a medicine like the " Mountain Herb Pills," that will pass directly to

the atliicted parts, through the blood and fluids of

the body, aud rauso the sniferer to brighten with the (lush of beauty and health.

Judson's Pillsare the best remedy In existence for

the billowing complaints : Bowel Complaints, Coughs, ('olds. Chest Diseases, Costiveuess, Dyspepsia, Diarrlnea, Dropsy, Debility, Fever aud Ague, Female Complaints, Headaches, Indigestion, Influenza, Inflammation, Inward Weakness, Liver Complaints, Lowness of Spirits, Stone aud Gravel, Piles, and Secondary Symptoms. GREAT FEMALE MEDICINE! Fcmal-'S who value health, should never be without these Pills. They purify the blood, remove obstructions of all kinds, cleanse tho skin ol all pim

ples and blotches, and bring the rich color of

health to the pale cheek.

The plauta aud herbs ot wnicu these Pills are

made, wore discovered, in a very surprising way, among the Te.ucans, a tribe of Aborigines in Mexico. Get the Almanac of our Agent, and you will

HOSTETTER'S ST0M ACHJBITTERS. rWHK J it Of R I Mi TO R 8 JMJVIt W.afWJl ufacturers of HOSTETTKR's! CE LEB KA 1 ED STOMACH BITTERS can appeal with perfect confidence to physicians and citizens generally of the United States, because the article has attained a reputation heretofore unknown. A few facts upon this point will speak more powerfully than volumes of bare assertion or blazoning puffery. The consumption of Hostetter's Stomach Bitters for the last year amounted to over a half million Imtlles, and from its manifest steady increase in time past, it is evident that during the coining year, the consumption will reach near one million bottle.. This immense amount could never have been sold but for tho rare medicinal properties contained in the preparation, aud the sanction of the most prom' nent physicians iu those sections of the country where the article is best know n, who not only recommend the Bitters to their pat ie tits, but ai e ready at all times to give testimonials to its etlicacy iu all cases of stomichic derangements and the diseases resulting therefrom. This is not a temporary popularity, obtained by extraordinary efforts in the way of trumpeting the qualities of the Bitters, but a solid estimation of on invaluable medicine, which is destiueitlo be as en during as time itself. Hostetter's Stomach Bitters have proved a Godsend to regions where fever and ague and various other bihous complaints have counted their victims by hundreds. To bo able to state confidently that the "Bitters" are a certain cure for the Dyspepsia and like diseases, is to the proprietors a source of unalloyed pleasure. It removes all morbid matter from the stomach, purities tho blood, and imparts renewed vitality to the nervous system, giving it that tone and energy indispensalde for the restoration of health. It operates upon the stomach, liver, am) other digestive organs, mildly but powerfully, and soon restores them to a condition essential to the healthy discharge of the functions of nature. Elderly persons may use the Bitters daily as per directions on the bottle, and they will tind in it a stimulant peculiarly adapted to comfort declining years, as it is pleasant to the palate, invigo'-at iug to the bowels, excellent as a tonic, and rejuvenating generally. We have the evidence of thousands ot aged men and women who have experienced the benefit of using this preparation while Hull -l ing from stomach derangements and general debility , acting under the advice of Physicians, thev have abandoned all deleterious drugs, and fairly tested the merits of this article. A few words to the gentler sex. There are certain periods when their cares are so harrasging that many of them sink nn-" dcr the trial. The relation of mother and child is so absorbingly tender, that the mother, especially if she be young, is apt to forget her own health in her extremo anxiety for her infant. Should the period of maternity arrive during the summer season, the wear of body aud mind is generally aggravated. Here, then, is a necessity for a stimulant to recuperate the energies of the system, and enable the mother to bear up nnder her exhausting trials and responsibilities. Nursing mothers generally prefer tho Bitters to all other iuvigorators that receive the endorsement of physicians, liecanso it is agreeable to the taste as well as certain to give a permanent increase of bodily strength. All those persons to whom wo i.ve particularly referred above, to-wit: sufferers f om fever and ague, caused by malaria, diarrlnea, dyeeutery, indigestion, loss of appetite, and all diseases or derangements of the stomach, supurannuated invalids, persons of sedentary occupation, and nursing mothers, will consult their own physical welfare by giving to Hostetter's Celebrated Stomach Bitters a trial. CAUTION. Wo caution the public against using any of the many imitations or counterfeits, but ask for Hostettkb's Celebrateu Stomach Bitters, and see that each bottle has the words "Dr. J. Hostetter's Stomach Bitters" blown on the side of the bottle, and stamped on the metallic cap covering the cork, and observe that our autograph signature is on the label. Ij, Prepared and sold by IIostetter A Smith, Pittsburgh, Pa., and sold hy all druggists, grocers, and dealers generally throughout the United States, South America, and Germany.
