Dyes are artiHcial agents, and dangerous their application, but Wood's Hair Tonic is a ! healthy stimulant, and caused a healthy growth. ;
A growth of gray hair upou a young person's bead is unnatural, and to apply a coloring tltti-1 produces an nnnatural result ; the color is changed, to be sure, but not through the roots of the hair. Ladies, do you see that geranium plant in the window yonder? how yellow and faded it looks. It is alive ml growing; yet where is the beautiful, rich, dark green that belongs to it ? Gone. The introduction of this great ; development of medical science, was thraagfc a six I years' trial Iu most obstinate rases, usually found among the poor, and marie more so by their poor living. In all the common compounds for Coueh and Lung Complaints, that most fatal of all to irond ; results, is the introduction of three perfect oppoaites, sticA fli Opium, Ipecnc or Aitimntj, and hiIim- ! ulnnt as basis, proilnclng one grand inrrt. To give to : the world a preparation which you are obliged to j caution patients to abstain from, where Dausea or prostration follows, is not only unnatural as a cure, 1 but is against all mathematical laws of medicine. I If you caunot make a common eueaiy of your com- ' plaint, and use a constant weapon to drive it out by ' a constant application, without fear of nans, n or prostration, then your complaint will hold its position, and your system is being debilitated, and the complaint becomes chronic. In the UsivErasi. Cot'un Kkmkdt none of those objections exist, but with "in one hand a weapon, and in the other a tool," yon drive out disease, and build up, or sus
