.NOVEMBER ELECTION TICKETS. We will print tickets lor tha Presidential election, for counties where no Republican paper is printed.at three dollar jier thousand on paper the size of our 'eekly.or $3.50 pcr thousand when colored, writing, or auy special kind ol paper ;.s required. Persons ordering tickets will be careful to direct how they are to be seut. Names are guaranteed to be all ierfectly correct. This is an important point. In their desperation to curry the Slate, the Douglas men and their allies may even undertake to (jet tip tickets headed ' Lincoln and Hamlin " and placeon tbem theirown electors.therebv inducing Republicans to rote the Democratic ticket J for it matters not what names are on tor President and Vice President, so you vote for the right men for electors. The only safety is to get your tickets from a Republican printing office, to see that they are handed out by Republicans, and then, finally, for each voter to examine his own ticket carefully. The names at the head of our paper, and those we put on the tickets I we print, are correct and reliable. Stay-Persons wanting tickets should send ia their orders as soon as possible, and all ! orders must he accompanied by the rath to i insure attention. The tickets" will b cut j and put up in packages of 100 each if de- I sired. Address Evansville Journal Co. oct. 30-1 tw &dte. The Election Returns. By the kindness of our friends in this District, and by means of the telegraph, we were enabled to give tint returr' of the State election in quite a saVsttory manner. But we did not do quite so well us we hope to do hereafter. At the Presidential election, we hope to have the aid of our friends in the surrounding counties as before, and by this means and the shortness of the ticket we hope to te able to give Xhejull returns of the District on Saturday morning after the election day j (Tuesday, Nov. 6), at farthest. Persons sending us returns will please j make their futures plainly, anil specify whether the returns are official or unofficial. Now let us see whether the full returns can not be sent to Indianapolis from this office on Friday night or Saturday morning. There will be great anxiety all over the country to hear from ' The Pocket." All who send us returns will be acting for the public accommodation. oct::o-diwtf4 Appointmi-ntafoi Speak lite. Hons. Wm.
