Tne New Albany Ledger informs us Hint two men named John Storms and John Brewer were digging a well near Elisabethtowu, Harrison county, lod., on Thursday last, and while one of them was beic drawn up out of the well in a tub, he was struck with the foul air and fell to the bottom, killing him instantly. The man who was at the windlass was lowered into the well, and before he reached the bottom was struck dead in the samo manner. The two men were taken out by means of hooks, their bodies and faces horribly mutilated. Brewer had married a sister of Storms only two weeks before the fatal occurrence.
