Anderson, Cairo; Grey Eagle, Louisville; Gen. White, Henderson. ——— ......The <Weather>, yesterday, was clear and pleasant. The <River> opposite this point continues to decline. It is now quite as low as it has been any time this summer, and the prospect now is that it will be still lower. If such should prove to be the case, the large steamers will have to remain in ordinary and light draught boats will be in requisition. ......The Louisville <Grey Eagle>, Capt. V. H. Daniels, is the regular boat for all points up the river as far as Portland wharf. She leaves at 6 o'clock this evening. ......The fleet and elegant passenger steamer <Charley Bowen>, leaves at 12 o'clock to-day for Cairo and intermediate points. She is in charge of gentlemanly and clever officers, and her passenger accommodations are unsurpassed. Mr. Wm. Bentley has charge of the office. ......The <Gen'l Anderson> will be here this morning, and departs for Cairo at 12 o'clock. The <Anderson> is a very fine new boat and is in charge of Capt. Gus. Fowler, late of the steamer <Dunbar>. Mr. John C. Glenn, also from the <Dunbar>, has charge of the office. These names are alone sufficient to render the <Anderson> popular in the trade into which she has just entered. Capt. John B. Hall at No. 2 Water street is agent for the <Anderson>. ......We notice among the visitors at the Fair, the familiar face of our old time friend, Alf. Edwards, formerly of the <Union> and <Bracelet>. He is stopping at the Sherwood. "Long may he wave." ====== MISCELLANEOUS. Importer. ENS ,VV OA' l.J.VI WITH. I I t I I. STOIH of CfYEESSWARF.. FRENCH ASD ESULISIL CHINA, GLASSWABB, 2'FA TRAY. It' so, and the Quarterly Conference refuse to grant him a new trial, what relation does said person sustuin to the Church?" The Bishop will decicla iu the future. The superannuated were again called. A lengthy discussion followed on various cases. There was an evident desire to prevent improper claims on the benevolence of the Church. The cases of T. J. llyau and P. F Thornburg were considered. They were continued as superannuated, with the request that next year they locate or take work. Z. S. Clifford made effective. The remainder were continued in their present relation. When the uame3 of the various Presiding Elders were called, they represented the State of their respective fields of labors. We have only room for a very short sketch or the report of Rev. Jas. H. Noble of the Evansville District. He said, after spendj ing four years he was about to hid adieu to his district. He left all prosperous. He presented the following tafole, giving the increase to benevolent objects and membership in the Evansville District in 18G0 over 185C.
