That we, the delegated representatives of the Kepublican electors of the United states, in invention assembled, in the discharge of the duty we owe to our constituents and our country, unite ia the following declarations: 1st. That the history of the nation during the ! last four years, has fully established the propriety and necessity of the organization and perpetuation of the Republican party ; and that the causes which ; catted it into existence are permanent in their nature, and now, more than ever befhfn, demand its peaceful and constitutional triumph. 2. That the maintenance of the principles promulgated in the Declaration of Independence and i embodied in (lie Federal Constitution "That all I men are created equal : that they are endowed by j their Creator with certain inalienable rights ; that anionic tlies. are lite, liberty, ami the pursuit ot hapfd Bees 1 t bat to secure these rights, govern iii.-ii is are instituted anions men, deriving their just powers troni the consent of the governed " is essential to the preservation of our llepublicau institutions ; and that the Federal Constitution, the Rights of tbe States, and the Union of the States must and shall be preserved. 3. That to the Union of tbe States this nation owesjts unprecedented increase in population, its smprising development of material resources, its rapid augmentation of wealth, its happiness at homo .-.nd its lienor abroad ; and we hold in abhorrence all schemes for Disuniou, come from what- ' ever source they may : And we congratulate the country that no Kepublican member of Congress lias uttered or countenanced the threats of Disunion so oftea made by Democratic members, without rebuke and with ppiadse frem their political ManciataM , and w e denounce those threats of disunion, in case of a popular overthrow of tiieir ascendency as denying the vital principles of a free government, and as an avowal of contemplated treason, which it is the Imperative duty of an in 'dignaut People sternly to rebuke and forever silence I 4. That the maintenance inviolate of the Uights ' if the States, and especially the right of each State o order and control its own domestic institutions iccording to Its own judgment exclusively, is essential to that balance of jaiwers on which tbe perei tioii and endurance of our political fabric delends; and we denounce the lawless invasion by .rined force of the soil of any State or Territory, io matter under what pretext, asamoug thegravest f crimes. ft. That the present Democratic Administration iss far exceeded our worst apprehensions, in its leasureiess subserviency to the exactions of a secienal interest, as especially evinced in its desperte exertions tj force the infamous Leconiptoti Couttaalea apoa the protesting people of Kansas; in instruing the personal relation betweeu master nd servant to involve an unqualified property in rrsous ; in its attempted enforcement, everywhere n land and sea, through the intervention of Conress and of the Federal Courts, of the extreme retousions of a purely local interest ; and in its ineral and unvarying abuse of the power intrusted it by a confiding people. 6. That the People justly view with alarm the ckless extravagance which pervades every departeut of the Federal fjovernmeut ; that a return to (id economy and accountability is indispensable arrest the systematic plunder of the public treasy by favored partisans ; while the recent startling " elopnttnts of frauds and corruptions at the FeOil Metropolis, show that an entire change of ministration is imperatively demanded. 7. That 'he new doflrma that the Constitution, of own force, carries Slsvery into any or all of the rriloriea of the Un'teil States, is a dangerous litical heresy, at variance with the explicit pro ions of that instrument itHelf. with coiitouiporaus exposition aud with legislative and judicial -cedent ; is revolutionary in its tendency, and versive of the peace aud harmony of the country. . That the normal condition pf all the Territory the United Stutes is that of Irtedom: That as Republican fathers, when they had abolished very in all our national territory, ordained that o person should Ikj deprived of life, liberty, or perty, without due process of law," it becomes duty, by legislation, whenever such legislation lecessary, to maintain this provision of the Conution against all attempts to violate it ; and we y the authority of Congress, of a territorial legture, or of any individuals, to give legal existe to Slavery in any Territory of the United res. That we brand the recent re-opeuing of the lean Slave-Trade, under the cover of our Naal Flag, aided by perversions of judicial power, crime against Humanity aud a burning shame ur Country aud Age ; and we call upon Congress ake prompt and efficient measures for the total final suppression of that execrable traffic. i. That in the recent vetoes, by their Federal ernors, of the acts of the Legislatures of Kansnd Nebraska, prohibiting Slavery iu those "itories, we find a practical illustration of the tei Democratic principle of Nou.lnterventiou Popular Sovereignty embodiixX-t' tbe KausaAraska bill, and a demousli atiou of the deception fraud Involved therein. . That Kansas should, of right, be immediately itted as a Suite under the Constitution recently ed and adopted by her ieoplo, and accepted by loiLse of Representatives. That, while providing revenue for tbe supof the general goverumsut by duties upon imi, aonnd policy requires such an adjustment of imposts as to encourage the development of udustrial interests of the whole country ; and onuneud that policy of national exchanges, .h secures to the working men liberal wages, to nlture remunerating prices, to mechanics and Hactnrers an adequate reward tor their skill, , and enterprise, aud to the nation commercial s-rity and independence. That we protest against any sale or alienaothers of the Public Lands held by actual rs, and ugainst any view of the Free Homepolicy which regards the settlers as paupers ppliants for public bounty ; ami we demand sssage by Congress of the complete and satisy Homestead measure which has already passHouse. That the Republican party is opposed to any e iu onr Naturalization Laws, or any State ttion by which the rights of citizenship hithtccorded to immigrants from foreign lands is? abridged or impaired ; and in favor of givMl and efficient protection to the rights of ssus of citizens, whether native or naturalioth at home and abroad. That appropriations by Congress for River arbor improvements of a National character, d for the accommodation and security of an. ig commerce, are authorized by the Cousti , and justified by tlie obligation of Covcruo protect the lives and pros-rty of it- citizens. I'b at a Railroad to the Pacific Ocean is im.ely demanded by the interests of the whole y ; that the Federal Government ought to immediate aud efficient aid in its coustrucand that, as pieli:uiuary thereto, a daily nd Mai should be promptly established. Mnully, having thus set forth our distinctive ilea and views, we invite tbe co-operation of zens, however differing on other questions. betantially agree with us In their affirmance port.

The Economist took the Fill ST PREMIUM I OR THE BEST . (HIKING STOVE rOB WOOD. Itoelker, Kinsman A Co took the first premium for their cooking stove for coal. No other premiums were offered. The large silver mi dal was awarded to the Economist at the New Torfe State Fair ; and the first premium at the Cnitod Slates Fair held at Chicag.-, and twelve other Stale and County Fairs in 186:1. Iu no branch of mechanical art has there been a more apparent advance than in tt.e manufacture ot stoves. It is but a lew years since tbe very name was a novelty, representing a huge, shaf.eb-ss structure, almost as devoid ot use as ornament, Those have grad natty given place to patterns of grace and utility; uutiltbe vati.-ties our markets now present have almost exhausted the vocabulary of names; and tlie different phases the metal is sands to assume, would astonish old Vulcan himself. In style ami finish, the improvement has been real, leaving nothing to be desired on that point, but the sever.' competition in price, to which they have been subjected, has deprived them of many of the more substantial qualities desirable. This seems in, .re, specially to have been the case in reference to cook stoves an article of domestic economy that has more to do with scolding wives and ci'otcho.y servants than most people imagine. The public have loug sought an improvement in this article, and We believe are ready to pay any reasonable price tor a cooking stovo, if it only possesses the merits of size, weight. Convenience, durability, economy, and perfection of tnanutactur: . These qualities seem to bo possessed most fully in the Economist a new stove, perfected and brought ont the past season, by Messrs, Tread well, Perry A Norton, of Albany. We heard so much of this stove, and it looked so much like u stove intended for use, that wo concluded to (ry thoss. and the result of the experiment convinces us that the pronneiers, in their determination to make the beet tttoce in the world, have SWOOeeded. We regard the Economist as possessing all the merits above enumerated as the great stove of the day far in advance of anything ever attempted in the line ot SVOVeS, perfect iu all its appointments, and true to its name in durability and the use of fuel. Among the many conveniences Attached to it, may be mentioned a largo oven, with hooks arranged, for suspending meats while roasting. A coper water tank, holding from 1' to 116 gallons warming closet, broiling hearth, d-c., Ac. The broiling hearth is one of the most noticeable features of this remarkable stove. There never has lieen, to our knowledge, any broiling fixture that wits really satisfactory in its operation. The proprietors of this stove have been conducting a series of experiments upon broiling, eliciting some valuable facts, and resulting iu the invention of a gridiron adapted to this stove, which has been secured by letters patent, and is one of the most admirable things of the kind we ever saw broiling without smoke, and keeping the coab io a constant glow. We are always glad to do justice to mechanical improvements, aud especially such as contribute so largely to the genera! good, as the one above mentioned. Above wo present von with a perfect likeuessof Tezuce, a chief of a tribe of the stratige Aztoc Nation, that once ruled Mexico. You will lind a full account of him iu our pamphlets and Almanacs to be had gratis from the Agents for these Pills. The inventor ami manufacturer Of " .ludson's Mountain Herb Pills " has spent the greater part of his life in traveling, having visited nearly every country in the world. H4 Bpent over six years among the Indians of the Rocky Mountains aud of Mexico, and it was thus that the " Mountain Herb Pills" were discovered. A very interesting: ac count of his adventures there vou will find in our Almanacs am! Pamphlets. It is an established fact that all diseases arise from IMPURE BLOOD! The blood is the life ; and when any foreign or unhealthy matter gets mixed with it, it is atonce distlrbuted to every organ of the body. Every nervo feels the poison, and all the vital organs quicklv complain. The stomach will not digest tliaXood perfectly. The liver ceases to secrete a sufficiency of bile. Tho action of the heart is weakened, and so the circulation is weakened. Tl.o lungs become clogged with tho poisonous matter; hence, a cough and nil from a slight impurity at the fountain head of life the Blood! As if you had thrown some earth, for instance, in a puro spring, from which ran a tiny rivnlet in a few minutes the whole conrso of the stream becomes disturbed and discolored. As quickly does impure blood fly to every part, and leave its sting behind. All the passages become obstructed, and unless the obstruction is removed, the lamp of life soon dies out. Those Piils not only purify the blood, but regenerate all the seen tions of the body. They are, therefore, unrivaled as a CUBE FOR BILTOI'S DISEASES, Liver Complaint, Sick Headache, Ac. This AntiBilious Medicine expels frem the blood the hidden seeds of disease, and renders all the fluids and secretions pure and fluent, clearing and, rususcitating the vital organs. Pleasant, indeed, is it to us, that wo are able to place within yout reach a medicine like the "Monntain Herb Pills," that will pass directly to the afflicted parts, th rough the blood and fluids of the body, and cause the snfferer to brighten with the flush of beauty and health. Judson's Pillsare the best remedy in existence for the following complaints : Bowel Complaints, Coughs, Colds. Chest Diseases, Costiveness, Dys pepsia, Diarrhoea, Dropsy, Debility, Fever and Ague, Female Complaints, Headaches, Indigestion, Influenza, Inflammation, Inward Weakness, Liver Complaints, Lowuess of Spirits, Stono and Gravel, Piles, and Secondarv Symptoms. GREAT FEMALE MEDICINE I Females who value health, should never bo without these Pills. They purify the blood, remove obstructions of all kinds, cleanse the skin ol all pimples and blotches, ami bring the rich color of health to the pale cheek. The plants and herbs of which these Pills are made, were discovered, in a very surprising way, among the Tezucaus, a ti iboof Aborigines in Mexico.
