Thb Kockvjlle Road Mr. Ebbitt, the etgineer engaged in running the route from this city to Uockville, for the extension of tht E. & C. Railroad, informs us that the sutvey has been completed, and the line run j tirough has been fixed upon by the directory as the permanent route for the road. The road will be nearly an air-line, the only deviation being at or near Markle's Mill, where a slight curve wa m ule necessary in order to get at an eligible place to cross Otter Creek. T. B. Through Edwards County, '.he majority of the wheat fields look rather jloomy, although here and there, we saw 'ome that will give considerable returns ; in in Richland County, the prospect is :inch better. Jn Llay County tne wheat did not xk quite so good, yet we saw some that j oked very fair.
