Louisville. ......The <river> was still falling slowly on Saturday, with no indications of a rise soon, as it was falling all the way up. ......The <Weather> was beautiful. ......<Freights> are still scarce, with no notable change in prices. ......<Business> on the leeve was dull, and with the exception of what freight our regular packets and the <Autocrat> took, nothing was done worth mentioning. ......The "tiger" packet, <Dunbar>, will leave to-day at 12 for Paducah and all intermediate landings. She takes the mail and of course will start on time. Be at the landing with your freight, as the <Dunbar> is always prompt ......The <Silver Star> and <Bowen> both left for Cairo, and the <Greenville> for Green River, with fair trips of passengers and freight. ......The <Autocrat> arrived late in the afternoon, and we suppose took all the freight which was "lying round lose" [sic] on the wharf, which will be about as much as she can conveniently carry. ......The <Lue Eaves> arrived from Green river with a first rate trip of tobacco. She will push out to-day at noon for South Carrolton, and as Jim McDonald is her Caplain, no better boat can be found to ship or take passage on. ......The <New Uncle Sam> passed down, but did not get much freight here, as our shippers preferred saving their freight for our own <Autocrat>. ......The <Glendale> passed down and the <J. K. Bell> up. Both had good trips. ......The Louisville <Courier> of yesterday, says: Capt. Lacy has recovered the body of his little daughter, who was drowned while attempting to reach the shore from the burning steamer <A. T. Lacy>, on the night of the 25th ult. ......It is stated that the Arkansas river packet, <Lady Walton>, is in possession of the Sheriff of Little Rock. It is also rumored that the <Medora>, Capt. Timms, will take the Walton's place in the mail line, and continue in the trade. ......Capt. Sam. Montgomery has gone to Memphis to close the sale of the <Republic> to Captain Sherley and others. They want her to ply regularly between Helena and New Orleans. ......The Cincinnati <Enquirer> has an item about two snags in the neighborhood of Letart, one of which the "boats run under," and the other they run over. They are very funny snags, or else the boats are good jumpers and dodgers. Canal Receipts. FROM PETERSBURGH, PER PRINCESS.— 2Gl bags coru, 15 bags barley, 5 huds tobacco, (ieo.
