ANOTHER FIRE.—The last three weeks our county has suffered by many fires, one each week. They have all occurred in the country. On last Thursday the dwelling house of Bryant Nesler was destroyed by fire, and with it about two-thirds of his household goods. There was no insurance, and the sufferer will have to bear the loss.—<Mt. Vernon Umpire>. Peaches suffered a good deal from the co'd weather in that vicinity, but t.pples promise pretty well as yet. The Sugar Scpplv. At the meeting of an association recently held in Liverpool, it was stated Irons official returns, that prior to 1834 the average export cf sugar from Jamaica to England was sixty-seven thousand tons, and now it hardly reached thirty thousand tons. In Cuba the exports for the same period, from Havana and .Matanas only, had increased from eighty-two thousand to two hundred and i'orty thousand tons; and from Brazil the exports for the same period had augmented from sixtythree thousand to one hundred and twenty thousand tors. Ilayti, which formerly exported a large quantity, now exports none, and imports a email quantity for its own .consumption.
