The attention of manufacturers of agricultural implements, and the raisers of small grain, isinvit ed to a recent and most valuable improvement in the construction of the Harrow, invented by V. M. Cuah.k, of GrayriJle, Illinois. In this new implement the teeth are inserted ill two self revolving horizontal wheels, by which the furrow of the teeth are made to cross the line of tho direction of the harrow, and as the teeth go round the circuit of the wheel every time the harrow moves forward the length of the diameter of the wheel, each tooth has just three times the effect of a tooth iu astraight harrow, consequently it does its work far better, and more of it. Once parsing over the ground with this harrow, leaves it better harrowed than by two passages with the ordinary harrow. It is "much lighter draft upon the team, and what must lie a great consideration wtih every practica! farmer, in pasMing over corn or btubbla ground, it keeps its.il entirely free of stalks, us by its actiou it scatters them ou each side of it. The Inventor proposes to sell the rilit to mauuacture these Harrows, for any giveu Territory, either Counties or States, at moderate prices, lie will also sell single Harrows, anil ou the receipt of 815 he will ship a good six feut Harrow to any part of the country, the purchaser paying freight.' We do uot desire to Interfere with the professional ethics of aur medical schools, nor do we possess any skill in pharmaceutics, but Dr. Graves has opeued to our inspection a mass of letters from his agents and most resiiev-lable druggists in all parts of the country, which commend his family medicines in the highest terms. They meet with a very extended sale, which of itsolf is an excellent recommendation. We always feel reluctant to make any endorsement of medicines, but there are so many localities where no regular practitioners are within reach, and so many diseases which require prompt remedies, that a supply of the prescription prepared by Dr. Graves, commended as they are for efficiency, would prove almost invaluable. In all casee of sickness, our first advice is to call the aid of a physician, but, if that is impracticable, it seems to us that Dr. Graves otters remedial agents iu ague, cholera morbus, ftc, which may be safely used, as he gives assurance that no deleterious compounds are used in their preparation. Louisville Journal. Dr. Graves' anti-Fever aud Ague, anti-Bilious, Purifying, and Cathartic Pills are iuaiuable to those afflicted with any of these complaints. His American Liniment is gaining a high reputation for healing all kinds of ailments, both of man and beast; and parents should remember that his 'Golden Vermifuge," is a certaiu remedy for expelling worms from the system, For sale by Wholesale Druggists generally.
