Iu this new implement the teeth are inserted in two self revolviug horizontal wheels, by which the furrow . of the teeth are made to cross the liue of the direction of the harrow, and as the teeth go round the circuit of the wheel every time the harrow uiovus forward tbe length oi the diameter of the wheel, each tooth has just three timcsthecftcct of a tooth in astraight harrow, consequently it does its work far better, and more of it. Once passing over the ground with this harrow, leaves it letler harrowed thau by two passage with the ordinary harrow. It is much lighter draft uhiii the team, aud what must be a great consideration wtih every practical farmer, iu pajwing over corn or stubble ground, it keeps itself entirely free id stalks, as by its action tl scatters them mt each side of it.
