The attention of manufacturers of agricultural. impleuieuts, and the raisersof small grain, isiuvit ed to a recent and most valuable improvement in the construction of the Harrow, invented by V. M. Chafee, of Grayville, Illinois. In this new Implement the teeth are inserted in two Self revolving horizontal wheels, by which the furrow of the teeth are made to cross Ihe- line of the direction of the harrow, eii'i us the teeth go round the circuit of the whoui every time the harrow moves forward the length of the diameter of the wheel, each tooth has just three times the effect of a tooth iu a straight barrow, consequently it does its work far better, and more of it. Once passing over the 'ground with this harrow, leaves it la-tter harrowed than by two passages with the ordinary harrow. It is much tighter draft uhii the team, and what must be a great consideration wtilr every practical fanner, hi passing over corn or stubble ground, it keeis itaelf entirely free of stalks, as by itij action it scatters them on each side of it. The Inventor proposes to-m41 the ri;ht to niaunacttire these Harrows, for : any given Territory, either Counties or States, at mrnlerato prices, lie will also sell single Harrows, and oh the receipt of $15 ha will ships good six feet Harrow to any part of thecountrv, the purchaser paying fi-eücht.
