The attention of manufacturers of agricultural implements, and the raisers of small grain, ir.invit ed to a recent and most valuable improvement in the construction of the Harrow, invented by V. M. Chapee, of Grayville, Illinois. In this new implement the teeth are inserted in two self revolving horizontal wheels, by which the furrow of the teeth are made to cross the line of the direction of the harrow, and as the teeth go round the circuit of the wheel every time the harrow moros forward the length of the diameter of the wheel, each tooth has just three times the effect of a tooth in a straight bnrrow, consequently it does its work far better, aud more of it. Once passing over the ground with this harrow, leaves it better harrowed than by two fiassages with the ordiuary barrow. It is much igbter draft upon the toam, aud what must be a great ctmsideration wtih every practical farmer, in imaging over corn or stubbie ground, it kdeps itself entirely free of stalks, as by its action it scatters tltem on each side of it. The Inventor proposes to sell the right to nianuactnre these Harrows, for any given Territory, either Counties or States, at moderate prices. He will also sell single Harrows, and on the receipt of 5 he will ship a good six fuet Harrow to any part of the country, the purchaser paying freight. Address, V. M. CHAFKE, sug3-d3t-wtf - ' .'
